United Distributors mission is simple - facilitate efficiency gains by providing the latest in irrigation technology, equipment, parts, and service to the agricultural market, in a timely and cost-effective manner. Founded in 2010 as an irrigation equipment, parts, and service provider in Idaho’s Magic Valley, the focus of the company has been to provide products and services that increase agricultural producers’ efficiency and productivity. The founder recognized early on that other irrigation distributors relied on passive sales strategies, i.e., waiting for customers to come into a single store location, which resulted in distant and service-­‐insufficient relationships with their customers.    

Rather than rely on this passive approach, United Distributors developed an aggressive, external sales strategy and began establishing strong business relationships with farming operations both large and small across the Magic Valley and later throughout the region.

This method proved effective, and business quickly grew as customers noticed and shared with others the United Distributors difference. Customer acceptance increased, and United Distributors expanded its inventory and service base to accommodate. The philosophy from the beginning was to go to whatever lengths necessary to provide the best solution for each individual customer. This customer focused approach improved relationships, led to greater revenue per customer and expanded the customer base.

Replacement parts sales, equipment installation and repair services were added to further enhance each customer’s experience. To date, United Distributors has grown into a complete irrigation solution provider and is capable of servicing customers of all sizes. Growth has been rapid yet systematic, and the size of the sales and service staff has increased to ensure that each new customer is met with exceptional care, The United Distributors Way.
